Trying to run Civ 5 on steam through Crossover so I can play with friends now that crossplay is done.
The game is installed but I run into 1 of 2 errors. Either I hit play and steam says the game is running, but the window only pops up in the dock before crashing and disappearing, or the launcher pops up but crashes as soon as I hit "play".
The launcher is set to DirectX9 by default, but if I click the settings to change it I get an error message .
Is there a way to fix these settings or install these drivers for Crossover?
Did you install DirectX for Modern Games in your bottle? It's also worth updating your OS to the newest Big Sur release to see if that helps.
