I am also very interested in this. Will we finally get to run RDR2, the prize jewel? It already runs great on my old 1070 laptop, I can only imagine how well it will do on the M3 Air.
FYI you can install GPTK 2 in Whisky/Crossover already (there are instructions in the GPTK2 beta package you can download on Apple's website with developer account). Robocop Rogue City with Epic settings runs like butter in FSR Quality, 100-130 fps with FSR Frame Generation (at 2000x resolution but it doesn't look at all like low res for some reason, but when I fiddle with the resolution, it turns to poo suddenly, something weird happening in the backend).
You can do the same with Crossover - as the previous poster suggested, you need to download the Toolkit with a Developer account (free). Then open the image. Open the Evaluation Environment inside that image. Then open a terminal and type the below (quote from the Readme)
cd /Applications/CrossOver.app/Contents/SharedSupport/CrossOver/lib64/apple_gptk/external
mv D3DMetal.framework D3DMetal.framework-old; mv libd3dshared.dylib libd3dshared.dylib-old
ditto /Volumes/Evaluation\ environment\ for\ Windows\ games\ 2.0/redist/lib/external/ .
I tried D4 - doesn't seem to work though. I assume Codeweavers need to add/patch something on their end.
This method (but in the finder) worked for me. CS2 runs much better with barely any stuttering when loading a map.
