I have two separate bottles (one for Diablo IV and one for Diablo Immortal). Both installs of Battlenet desktop say there is an update available and to "relaunch and update" but neither installs the update when the app restarts. I have tried several times quitting the apps and restarting the programs but stills says "update available".
Aside from deleting the bottles - which then requires the reinstallation of Battlenet and either of the Diablo apps - any other suggestions? (And yes I have shut down Crossover and restarted my iMac - neither of which solves the issue.) Thanks
I can play both games (Immortal and IV) perfectly. Just don't understand why the constant message to update (and also Immortal updates every time I start Battle Net and the game - but I think that is just the game itself since it is made for online play while Diablo IV you can play solo.)
Same here with Diablo IV. I also tried reinstalling Battle.net into the same bottle. That doesn't fix the problem either, even though the updating battle.net dialog flashes on screen briefly during that process.
Battle.net reports that it's on versions:
Battle.net Version 2.32.1.14852
Battle.net Update Agent Version 2.35.1.8741
This is on an M2 Max MBP host system, CrossOver up-to-date at version 24.0.3.
We are aware of the issue regarding this notification showing, and are investigating fixes. Currently, outside of the beta channels, there isn't any update actually available, so just the notification badge is erroneous. Gameplay should not be affected by it however, and you can continue to use it as needed, just ignore the badge. ;)
If you see any change in this behavior, feel free to let us know.
I have had this notification for a while and while both my Crossover bottles (one for Diablo IV and one for Diablo Immortal) show the message but nothing in the app updates, both Diablos run fine (so far). Thanks for the update.
