In D3DMetal mode game won't launch with "No GPUs found" message.
In DXVK game launches but with "GPU not supported" message and crashes to desktop shortly after game select menu.
Game ran flawlessly for months until the 1.3.4 patch dropped.
Can confirm. Had same issue starting after 1.3.4 patch. Re-installed using the default 'Diablo IV' crossover installation. Still had the 'No GPU Found' error.
It's the same for me. I also get the message that no GPU is detected. Run the new Diablo update and then the game no longer starts. So far I've been playing for months without any problems. D3DMetal and E-Sync must be on. Hope support fixes the problem quickly.
What I noticed today - and I know that Diablo IV put in a large patch either yesterday or the day before - that while the game runs (and yes, I do get that message about not having the "proper" video) it seems to running less smoothly than it did before this recent Diablo patch. Might be just my older eyes, but that's the way it seems to me. Would not consider it "broken" but might consider changing the game settings to a lower resolution or something to see if it runs more smoothly.

This is because the update broke D3DMetal support. that's why everyone is getting the 'No GPU Found' error. You CAN run it in DXVK, however there is a severe performance penalty for doing so.

Well I was getting the No GPU error in Crossover 24.0 before the latest Diablo IV patch, but it certainly ran better. And I tried installing Crossover 23 (I think it is 23.7.1 or something like that) and even that versions of Crossover gives the GPU error and a performance hit, which it didn't before.
Thank you for reaching out to us about this issue. The latest update to Diablo IV appears to have broken compatibility with CrossOver, but fear not! We are looking into the issue, and have added your ticket to our bug report.
Once we have a fix ready to go, we may reach out to you to test it, or at the very least we will try to notify you once a fix is released publicly. Thank you for your patience.
CrossOver 24.0.1 (24.0.1.37023) is fixing the NO GPU issue with D4. Works perfectly again! (D3DMetal + ESync + HighRes in option)
Patch notes:
for macOS:
Fix for latest Diablo IV update.
Add support for Tomb Raider I-III Remastered.
EDIT: It seems the mouse input is broken in HighRes - the maximum range of the mouse seems to be stuck on the top left part of the window..
EDIT(2): Input issue solved after fully restarting the bottle. No more input issues. Enjoy!

Meredith suggested that you should use MSync rather than ESync. Have you tried that?
Why are you using High Resolution Mode? D4 is not a game I have ever played but you should be able to set the resolution you like using its in-game options if running it in full-screen mode.

Battle.net isn't even starting with MSync instead of ESync..
Anyway, after fully restarting the Battle.net process, HighResolution worked perfectly.. So no issue after all :)

I don't believe High Resolution Mode is related to the resolution of the game but rather how CrossOver handle the MacOS's pixel doubling.. and that's quite useful in D4 as many parts would be way too low res rendering (character selection screen or in game character outfit).

I just installed the update and while I had no issues running D4 under Crossover even after the D4 update, I still get the message about the GPU not being supported. But the game runs and looks fine. But I don't turn on any of the Advanced Settings that have been discussed in this thread, so perhaps that is why I am getting the "unsupported GPU" message.

Are you still in DXVK mode?
I never turned on any of those "advanced settings" - even under Crossover 27 or even before the Diablo IV updates.
The 24.0.1 update didn't work for me. Game doesn't run with the D3DMetal enabled (though the no gpu error is gone). With DXVK or no advanced settings at all it launches with 'gpu not supported' and wow is the performance poor. Reinstalling and rebooting didn't change anything unfortunately.

No news? I see the same thing with you and the "gpu not supported". I always left all the advanced settings off and the performance was not too bad but felt it could be better. I installed Diablo Immortal and saw that Crossover had the DXVK turned on and it seemed to run fine so I tried it on the Diablo IV bottle and while the performance seemed a bit better (still with the GPU message), Battlenet seemed to have issues loading and so did Diablo IV - so I just turned it back off.
Update to this post: I decided to turn back on DXVK on the bottle that has Diablo IV installed and it seems to be loading and starting properly (including Battlenet) and definitely runs better with DXVK turned on. Significantly faster - no, but definitely noticeable. We shall see
With the latest versions (Crossover 24.0.3, Diablo IV 1.4.0.53129) I am seeing the behavior described in this thread. Performance is jerky with all advanced options turned off. Turning on D3DMetal causes the game to not launch with no message explaining why. DXVK is somewhat better but still stutters significantly.
