Hi - I'm pretty new to the forums, but just purchased Crossover after a few tryouts. I have an M1 Max 32GB.
I've noticed that after playing a game using the Steam Launcher (it's the only one I've installed) the Wine processes generally don't quit. Even if I exit the game and try and close Steam, the processes tend to hang, and even after they actually close, Activity Monitor will show anywhere between 20 and 30 wine64-preloaders and wine32on64-preloaders.
See image, this is after closing all applications and quitting Crossover completely.
It's normal for them to hang out for a short period of time, but not for an extended period of time. Does this happen every time you launch Steam, or does it just happen with certain games? And does this persist for over a minute after closing out?
Thanks for responding. They seem to linger well after a minute, but I am also finding I have to force-quit Steam to exit. If I re-launch Steam later on, it simply creates another instance of the pre-loader.
