I am trying to install the game Blood: Fresh Supply . When I first install the game it says it doesn't meet minimum system requirement but the install goes through. When I try to launch it I get this error:
I tried on win7 64bit bottle and win10 64bit bottle. I have this exact same game working flawless on same settings but the One Unite Whole version. The only difference with this one is it has expansion pack called Plasma Pack.
My god , it worked! Shouldn't this be on by default? I also saw that you can install Direct X so I did and i searched for DXVK it said its only for linux and for mac its already installed so I didn't.
There is also other options in the configurations:
-default bottle
-high resolution mode
-Performance Enhanced Graphics
-Performance Enhanced Synchronization (ESync)
-DXVK backend for Direct X 11
Enabling DXVK does break some games, which is why it's not on by default. And for a bit more context, I will point out that things have changed with CrossOver 21: with our current CrossOver release, it is possible to install DXVK via crosstie on macOS, and our wined3d implementation now makes it so that many games run without DXVK.
As for which settings to use, the ones that are likely to be relevant are DXVK (for DirectX 10 and 11 games) and esync. Esync helps the performance of some - but not all - games, so feel free to experiment with it.
Best,
Meredith
