Sadly, the only way around this is for users to report the false positives to their antivirus software vendors :/ The reason antivirus programs stopping flagging files in earlier CrossOver versions is precisely because other users had already reported the false positives, and the cycle needs to be restarted with each new CrossOver release. We really wish there were a better way, but we have not had any luck getting antivirus software companies to work with us on this issue.
In case anyone is seeing this for the first time, more info on false positives with CrossOver is available here:

Best,

Thank you.
I was able to get an exemption in to get things working again.
Appreciate the reply.
DO NOT INSTALL BITDEFENDER on your Mac!!! The new release trashed 37+ apps installed in CrossOver 21 beta. This despite the app was instructed to ignore CrossOver and any and all files related to it or apps installed as part of it. Support was friendly (called them) but totally useless. They apologized for the problem and promised to "Look into it".
I deleted it from my Mac tonight and am using a much less destructive and intrusive platform. They do exist but I cannot mention names as I am not in marketing or sales to the like.
