Hi
I have a iMac 7,1
Intel Core 2 Duo 2,4
ATI,RadeonHD2600
Mac OS 10.5.2
The Software Run i can install Steam and download and install HL2 works all fine but wen i Start the game i have only a white screen i can hear the sound but nothing too see.
I have testet 5 other minigames and alle have the same Problem Sound ok and the screen turns white !
Edit:
I have this problem only in Fullscreen Mode in Window Mode or in Virtuell Screen mode works the games fine !
I believe Stefan mentioned there were a lot of bugs in the new ATI 2600 video cards from Apple and that Apple would be pushing out a driver update soon which should fix this.
I have a similar problem to this, however there is no sound at all as well as just a white screen. Also the game window will not close and I have to quit CrossOver to close it.
I have this problem with TrackMania, however the very first time it did load the opening screen, however I was unable to click any of the options although they recognised they were highlighted by the cursor.
Trying to load Audiosurf creates the same problem, however it actually proceeds to freeze my computer, and so the first time I had to restart. I read in another thread or maybe a ticket that this could have caused the problem, with the white screen at least, and I've tried installing steam again in a new bottle with the same results.
I have tried full screen and windowed mode and both are the same.
