Just downloaded the trial version of Crossover Games yesterday to try and run Sim Theme Park on my Intel Mac. Install goes fine on any operating system (I think the game was built for win98) with no errors listed in the log, but when I try to run it, the icon for the game appears in the dock and a few seconds later goes away. I've done what minimal troubleshooting I can manage, being not so technically inclined, but haven't managed to get the program to run. Figure it's a configuration thing I have wrong, but maybe there is a quick fix for the almost-but-not-quite-running program?
Any suggestions would be welcome. Don't want to give up on this yet.
Becca
This might be caused by the Logitech Control Center panel being installed on your computer. It injects code into programs launching and kills apps running inside Crossover.
If that's not the case, then it might just be this game currently doesn't run in Crossover. The application appearing/disappearing happens for a lot of programs that don't work in Crossover.
