I am using ubuntu hardy and recently installed Crossover games to play Guild Wars, the install runs flawlessly but whenever I try to run the game all I get is a black screen.
I would post the errors but I dont know where are the logs.

Are you using the binary driver? That driver has a bug with multithreaded D3D drawing like Guild Wars does, so it doesn't work yet. However, a fixed driver will hopefully come up soon.
Is there another driver I could use, that you know about?
You could try the open source driver, but I am not sure if it has 3D acceleration on your card yet. Otherwise, patience is(has to be) your friend until ATI fixes the driver.
Ouch... sorry to hear that.
To be honest, I gave up on making ATI's drivers work under Linux because it did not ever work correctly. I reinstalled my Nvidia and that worked without a hitch. I believe the issue you are experiencing is in fact a video driver issue unfortunately.
