Neverwinter Nights on CX Games

hello,

Great program. I bought it for Half life 2 and now use it for HL2 and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

However, I have a question. I have Neverwinter Nights PC (Atari Classics version) and I would like to run it in CX Games. Is this possible?

I tried installing it...but it asks for the first CD, starts the install, and locks up with a white window and a smaller window in the middle saying 'X11' on it...So I assume this has something to do with X.

I did have the Mac version of Neverwinter Nights, but my cat got hold of one of the CD's and ruined it...stupid moggy..

Thanks in advance and for a great product..

oh yeah, and what's with the water gfx glitches if HL2? Not a major problem, but it's weird..

Actually, I found a thread which tells me how to get it to work. I should be more patient. Thanks and so sorry for wasting your time.:)

Not sure if this helps but I have NWN running on an iMac with Crossover Games. I did not install it - I just copied the entire folder structure from my Windows box onto the iMac hard disk and then opened the main executable (nwmain.exe) from the menu of Crossover, using an existing Win2k bottle. The only issue is the menu and dock show up on top of the game. Not fixed this yet, but I know there is an option in OS X to auto-hide the dock - so that should resolve it.

Incidentally, I have also used the same method on a MacMini and an Eee PC 900 (WinXP version) running NWN directly from a USB hard disk or a USB memory stick.

I also tried the Linux version of NWN on the MacMini - which didn't work.

Not tried the actual install on OS X yet.

Good luck.
