Switching from Windows to Ubuntu I installed Crossover and started the install from scratch and it's taking forever (slow download speeds). Is there a way to tell Crossover to reinstall or to install and configure using the pre existing install that is on another drive so that I don't have to redownload all over again?
You can make an archive of your bottle(s) if you look in the "advanced" tab. That would allow you to have a single file to move where ever you like.
Otherwise you can simply move your bottles by hand, as they should all be in your home directory under the ".cxoffice" folder, which you can just copy after you install Crossover. If I'm not mistaking, Crossover should just "scan" that folder and take note of existing bottles.
The use of archive is probably the safest and most reliable method to move things.
