Adding WMA support

Hi,
I just installed foobar2000 but currently it does not support wma. How can I add this codec? Winetricks did this before using crossover for me…

I'm not sure, but probably installing Windows Media Player does it for you. If not, please consider filing a support ticket.

I tried installing the WMP. As off version 10 I had to download the installer from Microsoft, I had some problems with the genuine-check (I prefer not to run/install it). Using the crossover-installer, I was unable to install WMP 9, which had actually the installation-link with it.
I created a support ticked…

Install Microsoft Media Player Sound Engine 9 into the foobar2000 bottle.

worked like a charm 😊
