Routing audio from CX-Games to secondary output?

As the title suggests, I am wondering if it is possible to send the sound from the games I run in CX to a secondary output (my USB headset).

When I upgraded to 7.1.1, the load on my system seemed to have decreased and I am now able to run iTunes and TF2 at the same time. I would like to be able to send all the audio from TF2 to my usb headset and have iTunes come out of my external speakers. This would make hearing voice communication much easier.

If that is not possible, is there a way of moving all the TF2 audio to one side and the iTunes audio to the other? I had tried messing around with SoundFlower, but it did not seem to do what I thought it would do.

Thank you in advance.

My understanding is - but I have never worked on sound support - that for each sound output device MacOS or Linux know, we report a Windows sound card to the applications. That means that the application can decide where it sends the sound output to, so you have to change this setting in the game, if this is supported.

I could be wrong here though, Ken surely knows more

Ok, thank you.

Currently, in CX-games, the Steam client, and TF2, the only audio source listed is CoreAudio Mixer. It is possible I am not seeing the option I need in CX to send audio to the headset.

I will wait for Ken to come in with the final answer then.
