Problem With all Games(Via Steam)

Well a few days ago i was playing garrysmod on Crossover games running fine then all of a sudden ti freezes and i have to restart computer and then when i get back on my gmod had an update but when i start it up everything was white and the fps was sh*t and the same happened to css and tf2 can anyone help? COG Ver 7.1 Also i noticed when i used crossover 7.0 it said hardware direct x version was always 8.0 now it says 9.0 i think that might be the problem
