Battlefield 2 - Insert Disc

Found the solution, my fault ;)

Any chance you will share this solution, i have the same problem, when i have installed BF 2, and try to run it i am promted and asked to insert the DVD, bur it is already in the drive

The problem is most likely that either the copy protection driver does not load, or if you are on MacOS, that the copy protection system can't do raw access to the DVD because MacOS does not allow it...

I'm guessing the problem is that you are not pressing run when it inserts because when i insert a cd when crossover games is running it asks me what i want to do with it.

Could you please tell me how you did it cause I have the same problem with it.
