ok-
so it seems that loading sims 2 for pc on my macbook was successfully completed in as far as that the game installer asked me if i wanted to view the info, launch the game, or quit. however, when i try to actually play the game, crossover wants to restart the installation and the game itself says that i have the wrong cdrom in, even when i have tried every single cd of the four. any advice as to what i can do? plz keep in mind that this is my first mac EVER and that i was never a techie to begin. thank you.
i know i have already looked into it.. that sucks a bunch. i just dont wanna spend 200 again on games. it was worth the shot i guess. it seemed so close! any reason why in particular it doesn't work?
Sims 2 requires a software vertex shader emulation which we do not have. We only support HW vertex shaders, but HW vertex shaders have tougher limits than the software emulation, thus it doesn't work for sims 2.
