I get this error when starting Quicken - "Unable to initialize Quicken runtime components. Restart Windows and try running Quicken again". I can get Quicken to run simply by doing Run with Options/Enable Log file.

Hi David,
Thanks for the heads up. I'd be curious to know what Quicken version you're running, what CrossOver version you're using and what OS you're on. I haven't heard any other reports like this, so I'd like to try to narrow this down.
Best,
Meredith
Mac OS - Big Sur
Crossover Version 21.0 (21.0.0.33720)
Quicken 36.41 (though also working when I was on 36:38)
I will say that quicken is very unstable now -- crashes after a few minutes
My husband complained a few nights ago about exactly the same instability you describe: he could get about 5 minutes of work done before it crashed. Since the 21.1 release candidate had been announced I decided to give that a try and am happy to report that it solved the problem. My guess was that Monterey 12.0.1 caused something to break. We are on Quicken R36.38 running on an M1 Mac Mini.
Since I was messing with Crossover anyway I re-tested the Quicken help function and the Portfolio X-Ray but they are still not working. I reported those as issues under the RC.
