Seriously, help me, guys. My entire computer freezes when playing TF2.

I'm just playing TF2, and out of nowhere, my ENTIRE COMPUTER LOCKS UP!! So I posted something like this thread before, and all I was told was, "It's not Crossover Game's fault," and, "Install the latest version of Crossover Games." Well I am running CXG 7.1.1, and I have the EXACT same problems as I did with 7.1.0. HELP! THIS IS HAPPENING EVERY FEW MINUTES! I CAN BARELY PLAY A FULL GAME!

Dylan, by definition, if your computer locks up, it is a bug in your OS or a driver component. Now CrossOver is good at finding and triggering such bugs, but it not a CrossOver problem. I suggest you apply any OS updates you can find, and that you try a different video driver. If on Linux, a different kernel version and a different video driver are clearly in order.

Good luck.

Cheers,

Jeremy

I have OS 10.5.5, the latest, and there's still problems. I wish Crossover didn't trigger such bugs

Other times, CXG won't lock up the computer, but will just shut down. I get error messages such as this:

and

It seems like there's a regular crash in your graphics driver, resulting in the error messages from TF2. Quite often, such crashes tend to bring the entire Mac operating system down, unfortunately.

What maps are you playing? did you try lowering the graphics to the minimum?

The graphics are all super low, and it's the only thing I'm running....
