While I realize that CXG is working on stabilizing DX9 support, I noticed that there's a Mac Pro upgrade kit for the GeForce 8800 GT, which is supposed to support DirectX 10 (at least, when booted into Windows with Boot Camp). Is that a card that would work with games played inside CXG, or would the drivers in the bottle not match up? Does anyone have this card working?
I have this card (bought it for native apps like WoW), but I don't think it matters for Crossover until there's support for DX9 built in (and one day 10!). Meaning the card doesn't magically make DX9 work, CXG still needs to support it.
Correct me if I'm wrong?
CrossOver has dx9 support, but it is disabled on Macs due to driver bugs. I explained this on this forum before, the search function should find it.
