First of I want to say that CrossOver Games for Mac works great. I have been playing Half-Life and Half-Life 2 like crazy. I love my Macs, but I seriously wanted to get a Windows box or even dual boot my Intel Macs just so I could play these two games.
I have a question however. This is not so much related to CrossOver as it is to Half-Life itself. Does anyone know know how to setup a custom resolution for Half-Life? In Half-Life 2, I can add the command line arguments -width 800 -height 579 (I connected my Mac Mini to old 37" TV) and I can play Half-Life 2 in full screen minus the top bar. I was wondering if I could something similar with Half-Life. I have tried adding command line arguments but that doesn't do anything.
I have done a few Google searches, and from what I have found out, there is a cfg file that you modify to get a custom resolution, but I have yet to find it. I was wondering if anyone knew where it was
In Steam, if you right-click on Half-Life you'll get a small options dialog. The opening tab has a text field where you can put in a command-line argument to run at startup. I think that should be able to get it to do what you want.
