I'm running ubuntu 8.04 on my blackbook with crossover games. Steam starts up fine with some lag (That is, only if I turn off compiz fusion). After I log in it takes a while for it to recognize that I have purchased games, but that's not too big of a deal. The real problem here is once everything has settled down and I run TF2 or any other Steam game, the screen changes resolution and locks up and the only way to get out is a force shutdown via the power button.
Any solutions? Thanks.
