I installed Battlezone 2 and the installation process went fine, it was when i tried the game that the problem began. Even though the CD is in the Mac it still say there are no CD and that i need to insert one. I've looked through the Forum and number of people have the same problems with other games but no one has any answers as to how to solve it. So is there anyway that i can play this game?

There are other solutions you can use like mounting in a different format, but these do not always work.
Usually we see this problem when copy protection is used on a cd and that it discussed at length in many forum posts. In some cases this is something that can be worked around; in others, not so much.
