I have been playing TF2 and everything seems fine when I noticed that the servers list doesn't show up anymore outside or inside the game. THe only thing that shows up are some Asian servers (I'm in Singapore) I've played on under History. When I try to join a game one of my friends is playing, under that tab it shows the server they're on as IP numbers and the latency is 2000 and 0 players. Under the Internet and Favourite tabs, nothing comes up even after I tweaked the filters. I did a Steam update before I noticed this problem so am not sure if that is the cause of the problems and I've even restarted my router, got on a different network just to make sure it's not my router or network. I have no firewalls up.
have you tried deleting the ClientRegistry.blob file in the Steam installation directory? This can help clear up a lot of different Steam issues. The update itself could have corrupted something, in which case you may want to think about doing a clean re-install of steam into a new bottle (the version you download from the website being pre-updated).
