I cannot get WOW to install on my laptop. The main program doesn't install it. It seems that it mounted the Mac files on the DVD so if anyone knows how to get around this I would be very grateful.

There's a FAQ entry for this in the CrossOver Games for Mac FAQ because it is a common issue there. On Linux it is rather rare, but happens on some distros. We can't fix the distro's cd mounting code unfortunately :-/
A long solution would be to download the demo from the website. You can then use your DVD key with it. It does take a long time to download I hear.
