I'm running Guild Wars on my macbook - so far going pretty well apart from not being able to run full-screen. I'm hoping to eke out the best framerate possible from the macbook's puny gaming capabilities - thought it might be worth trying to run it under dx8 rather than dx9 - but am a bit confused about the command line switches. How exactly do you use them? via the Programs/Run Command dialog, ok, but then..the tips & tricks page says "Choose appropriate bottle and navigate to the Gw.exe then paste switches after space". So after pasting in the switches I get the error message:
Command Results:
The Command "/Users/andrew/Library/Application Support/CrossOver Games/Bottles/XP/drive_c/Program Files/Guild Wars/Gw .exe -dx8 -noshaders" returned 1.
