I just purchased NBA2K25 today on Steam and upon launching via crossover, I get one of the Wine debugger "this app has encountered a serious problem" errors. I am running it on Sequoia Public Beta 6 on an M3 13" Air 8/256. NBA2K24 works great on Sequoia and only runs on Sequoia due to needing AVX. 2K25 also requires AVX so I figured it would work fine. I did find out that 2k25 is running on the current gen engine now rather than last gen, so I imagine maybe something with the engine being different is the problem. The game only just came out today so it may be a while for people to test it/debug, but wanted to see if anyone got it working. I installed MF libraries in my bottle, used GPTK 2 B2 and D3DMetal and M Sync.
To my knowledge, the beta MacOS is not supported by crossover and things won't work in it if they work at all. That could be the problem entirely. Just a guess but they will probably tell you they don't offer support for a beta OS. Reach out they are super cool people! :)
