can any coder or someone that understands a lot of MacBook and coding help me?

For months im trying to figure out how to play Ravendawn on my MacBook Air.

for 2 months I could, until they did a simple update and idk how they literally broke and my game after it starts, after some minutes, the screen freezes and I have to hard close it. some time it takes some minutes, sometimes not. its really random. Before that I could play so smooth in the crossover but now I can't. im trying for months after they broke that up trying everything I know and readying so many things and nothing works. Please if anyone can help me I can send something via PayPal idk, but Im begging for help, I can't stand anymore playing in a crap windows notebook

I already tried, they tried to help me multiple ways, no success, that's why im here trying to ask if anyone know any solution that the devs of crossover itself don't know. Or may try to figure it out and we can sort a payment for it idk. i would like very much to play my game again in my MacBook and I can't..

Hav you tried downgrading your version of CrossOver? Just spitballing here hoping it might help. If you can’t find it on the site perhaps ask tech support for a copy of the one that worked that you paid for and they will send it to you if this is your main reason for using the software. Is there a demo of this game somewhere if so I’d be happy to try and get it running. I’m far from an expert but like a good challenge (not a programmer).

The game is free. U can download it on theire website ravendawn.online just search ravendawn game in google and ull find it. I tried running older versions of crossover and no sucess. And no the devs dont support me at all. Im all alone atm. Game is new and all they reply atm is that they dont support macbook users atm and for us to try using parallels or portingkit (that also crashes) and parallels is just horrible. Super lagged. If u try the game ull see that sometimes it take some time to the screen to complete freeze and sometimes its kinda fast like i said. Idk whats the issue with the graphics that causes the screen to freeze but theorically the game still running behind the freeze. Super weird

OH, I have to apologize I refuse to sign up for any f2p game at the rate they sell data. Parallels isn’t all that bad anymore I play top-end 3d intensive games on it all the time. Just no direct x support past I want to say 10? Maybe 11?

You can always demo that and if you buy it you have 30 days for a no-response refund. Of course, I can only speak for THIS version of parallels running Win 11 pro ARM. But again no problems here except with a few games that use Unity (not all) or DX12. I apologize but again I just don’t do f2p games that require this much info on the user to sell. :( If it’s browser based did the browser get updated? Have you tried other browsers? It didn’t look that complex from what I saw. What was the last version of CrossOver that it worked on?

Listed as installs however, does not run. With an older version so I’m not sure how old the version of crossover you were using was but this version is rather old he used.

For the game to work the crossover support told me to use a specific bottle they sent me. without it the game couldn't run. that's why in that rating u sent its listed as it does not run. The game runs but like I said it completely freezes the screen after some time, and for 2 months it wasn't like that. as for the parallels im not sure what u saying. ill I can say about that program is that I download in my MacBook, run it, download the game aswell and the game runs terrible. fps is just wild. and I can't event tell why cuz my MacBook has 16 gb ram and the automatic for parallels is split 8gb for parallels and in the game shows 4gb , but even if its only 4gb It should run fine, my windows notebook runs with I think less just fine. parallels just do somenthing that lags drastically and my fps goes down to 0-1 and my latency skyrocket.

All I’m trying to do is help I’m not a Code Weaver employee or coder just a user of the software. With that said, the ONLY last resort I can think of is whether your game was updated. If so bam there's ONE reason it doesn’t work. The same thing happens with a lot of games all the time. D4 updated and was down in crossover for about a month till the team patched it. So I’m out of ideas. Good luck! :)

Who did the update? If it was an update to Crossover you can always use the older version. If an update to the game broke it it's out of Codeweavers hands until they find the time to fix it or it gets fixed hopefully in future versions.

Okay I read that you've tried older versions of Crossover and it doesn't help so it appears it was a game update that broke it. Well, that's not unusual and with 156,000 Windows games it's not easy to always support everyone of them in Crossover. You say they've been trying to help you so it sounds as if they've done what they can for now.
