I am trying to figure out how to change the screen resolution options for Star Wars Galaxies. I'm sure this is an issue for other games as well, so maybe it's a common fix. Basically, before the game is launched, there is an option in the game menu to pick your screen resolution. Well, I only get one option, which is the base minimum of the game. I have an iMac, so I know I can do better resolution options, but I guess it's the "fake" PC system settings of CrossOver that is only letting SWG give the one option. How can I fix this?
is SWG set to use a virtual desktop? if so, that might be what's limiting it.
my best guess right now, open winecfg for the SWG bottle and, on the graphics tab, edit the virtual desktop size to your desired resolution. otherwise i couldn't say, as i don't play that game.
