I started up my game of Half Life 2 after updating CG to the newest version, and the graphics in the game are all screwed up. What do I need to change to get it working as it was previously? It's a macbook (not pro), latest leopard.

I've tried a zillion different settings changes in steam and HL2 now, no luck. Tried he DX level changes as suggested in a different thread. No luck. In fact, almost every change just makes the thing crash - it's quite possible somethings pretty messed up.
Does anyone know how to revert to the previous version? Is that even possible with the way the new version updates the files?
You can revert to the previous version. Just go to your "My Account" page, there you can download all older CrossOver version.
Does your MacBook have an Intel X3100 card? There is apparently a regression, and CrossOver 7.2 runs into a previously hidden problem with the driver, resulting in anything from incorrect rendering, to game crashes or even entire system crashes. We're still investigating this issue.
No, it's the GMA 950. Thanks for the info on previous versions, I'll try this until things get sorted out.
I am having an issue with 7.2, as well. I have a MacBook with the X3100 video card. I can start TF2 and play normally for about 2 minutes, then TF2 quits and I've left back in the Steam main window. I can restart TF2, but the same cycle continues. I have restarted Steam and Crossover Games, but not the entire computer. Quitting out of the programs happens without issue.
