Hello Community,
I want to play GTA on my Mac with a PS4-Controller, but GTA can only detect XBOX-Controller.
On Windows, I was able to use DS4Windows for the Emulation, but how does it look like in Crossover?

you should connect your ds4 to Mac via bluetooth and crossover will automatically detect it. no additional software needed.

Can confirm, works just fine except force feedback.

I have an M1 MBP 14" and my PS4 controller is connected via bluetooth just fine but Crossover does not recognise it. Is there something else I need to do?

How are you determining that CrossOver doesn't recognize it? If you go to "Game Controllers" in the Control Panels, does it show up there?

So I can see it in the crossover settings and it reacts to the sticks being moved and so on, it's just not available in the games I run. Any of them do I need to also install any library like direct etc to make it work?

You shouldn't need to install anything else to get the controller to work. It's possible that the games you're trying to run don't support a PS4 on Windows either, or there could be game-specific quirks to the controller support that CrossOver doesn't account for.
