I am sorry for this post. I am new with Linux and CrossOver. I have a Chromebook and recently installed Linux Ubuntu 22.04, but I only have 32 Gb of storage, so I really want to install all my windows programs in a external SDCard. Is there a way I can actually do this?
1) Mount the SD Card to a path
2) Close CrossOver if running.
3) rename /home/yourusername/.cxoffice to /home/yourusername/.cxoffice.bak
4) create a symlink in your /home/yourusername/ naming it as ".cxoffice" and point it to your SD Card path
5) copy data from cxoffice.bak folder to .cxoffice.
I've done this to use my data partition in the bigger HDD, because my home partition is much smaller in the SSD and works perfectly, because Linux was designed to work correctly with links.
Good luck!
