I was looking at buying Raft on Steam but I also wanted to install mods with it as well. Can I install mods? If so, how? (I'm also a Mac user)

Answer: Kind of. With the help of Catfood🦊#1601 (also a BetterTester), they found out I needed to install .NET framework 4.6.2 for the Mod loader to work but the mods do not compile.

I saw a YouTube video on this, and the short answer is: no, unfortunately.
As you said, the mods don't compile, even with the .NET framework installed.
