If I don't remember to close Notepad ++ (the only app I use with Crossover) and shut down my Macbook, the system will hang because Notepad ++ doesn't shut down automatically. Does anyone know how to prevent this?

You ca adjust this in System Preferences, I believe. Perhaps check this article out
