I tried to install two apps in CrossOver (18) just to see if they would work; they show as installed, but will not start. Indeed both hung on install. So my question is how to 'uninstall' them from CrossOver. (I'd like to try to reinstall one with trace turned on, but that's not possible with it seemingly already, but only partially, installed.

Fire up CrossOver. Click the app's icon once. That brings up the icons, which should include the icon for the app you installed. Click the same icon again, not the icon for the app that just came up. This brings up CrossOver's options. Click the cog wheel near the upper right and one of the menu choices is to uninstall your app. Hope that helps.
