Was attempting to trial crossover and cannot get passed getting steam installed. I can launch crossover and start the install, but it fails on the last step of installing steam itself. Not trying to do anything special. Crash goes from the desktop to a hard reboot followed by a Mac OS error report of:
SOCD report detected: (AP watchdog expired)
can't find much on this and would love to fix this so I can actually use the software and purchase a license.
Running on a brand new M4 Max MacBook Pro running Mac OS 15.1.1. Latest version of Crossover.
Are there any other logs I can provide to assist in determining what may be going on and the correct course of action to resolve it?
Are you running any sort of AV software or programs like Clean My Mac? They interfere with installs at times and that could be it. If so disable prior to install. If you can't get it running I'll build you a premade with steam installed bottle you can DL from my Google Drive :)
