Diablo IV VoH disconnects

Hi,

The game launch properly.
But the game disconnects regularly, I tried to play with NVIDIA GeForce Now and no disconnections, so it seems not to be my internet connection.
Has anybody similar issue ? Has someone a solution for this please ?

LOTS of people have been complaining about this issue - including myself. And most of them are NOT running under Crossover but playing on a real Windows machine. It appears the issue (or at least some reasonably intelligent guessing on the diablo IV forums) is that Blizzard is having major issues with their servers which forces most of the world onto the US servers - hence the delays and disconnects.
Just out of curiosity - do you disconnects/slowdowns happen after a transport because that seems to be the most common game occurrence that causes it. I originally only saw it when just using the map screen to transport, but now it is happening when just trying to exit places like dungeons.

Hi,
Thank you for your response.
On my side, disconnections happen anytime without warning.
If the problem is on Blizzard's side, why am I not experiencing any disconnections while playing through Nvidia GeForce NOW?
Regards,
Julien

That is strange but I am only going by what I read. Hopefully it will be straightened out. BTW I am playing on an M3 iMac with whatever video hardware Apple has built in.

Hi,
For information, my last gaming sessions did not suffer any disconnections.
Apparently, Blizzard has solved my problem.
Regards

It seems to be improved. Still happens every once in a while but not as bad or as often as it was. Just wish Diablo IV would not constantly need "updates". Seems a bit extreme.

Playing on a M4 MBP Max 64GB and so far I've done a few dungeons and have teleported and rode overlands with out a disconnect. But since this issue has become aware I've got about 2-3 hours into the game. I've been preoccupied with another game at the moment :)

Well, after it seems like HUNDREDS of updates to Diablo IV, the issue with the transporter/freezing is still there. And the number of times the program needs an "update" is getting beyond ridiculous. It seems like every time I open the bottle with Diablo IV in it the game updates. And almost as often when I close the game it needs another update. And none of them SEEM TO FIX THE FREEZING ISSUE!!! I don't know if this is because I am playing under Crossover rather than Windows itself (don't want to blame Crossover because this never happened BEFORE the Vessel of Hatred expansion from what I remember). The only two options I have turned on for that bottle are D3DMetal and Esync.
Any suggestions that I can try - aside from just giving up on Diablo IV VofH - at least until I can try installing it under Parallels/Windows 11 and see if the issues are there also?
Thanks for reading.

Hi there sorry to hear about your D4 troubles. It does not even install under parallels. Something about the architecture of virtualizing windows the way it does. WINE isn't a virtual OS where parallels is. I have both and more games work in Crossover than Parallels (except some steam games but then controller support is sketchy at best sometimes)

Just thought I'd save ya some money on the parallels front :)

Sorry again about all your troubles that SUCKS!

Thanks but I already own Parallels and Windows 11ARM because I can't get Lotus Approach (need it for some organization work) and Links 2003 (which doesn't seems to like Crossover, though I have not tried it in a while). So the purchasing isn't an issue - just don't want to waste my time if the install/running won't work.
Was just curious if some of the issues with Diablo IV VOH was Crossover related or if people running it on actual Windows installs were having the same issues. Thanks anyway.
