I am but a humble tech enthusiast 😅 I don't know much about coding etc. To my understanding, when Sonoma detects a game, it is able to set it as a higher priority resource wise. Is codeweavers maybe able to explain what it is in a program that makes MacOS distinguish an app as a game, and do you guys have plans to get crossover recognized as so (or crossover launched games, to take full advantage of the system
Many great emulators running on MaC silicone automatically trigger the game mode. I mean in a realistic sense it should be implemented because whenever the metal API is utilized that should be the trigger for it, but I don't know S*** on how to program ... But from what I know so far , It should give a very slight increase in FPS considering what I've seen from channels testing this , like Andrew Tsai.
