Hello, I am trying to install a windows software using CrossOver. The third-party windows software does install and runs smoothly. However, to unlock the software's PRO version the software company requires a HD Volume number which is a 9/10 digits number. I have purchased the PRO Version and the company can only send registration key once they receive the HD Volume number. But when I install that software and run it the HD Volume number is 0. Despite trying to re-install the volume number remains same. I contacted the company and they suggested to install the software on a different drive. As they cannot provide a registration key for HD Volume number 0 and it should be 9/10 digit number only.
Now, I don't know how to install the software in a different drive in CrossOver and also is there a way to get HD Volume Number from inside the drive in CrossOver?
Would appreciate any help or suggestions in this. Thank you!
