Linux user since 1991, admin since 1995. Have used most of the major distributions, including LSL, Slackware, Yggdrassil, Red Hat, Debian, Caldera, and now Ubuntu, Debian and Fedora. Created and maintained the Wine FAQ in the late 1990s, then turned it over to WineHQ. Also, a Mac user since 1985, admin since then too. With OSX based on BSD, it's become amazingly simple for Linux users to make the transition if they want. At the risk of aging myself, I've used MS products since the command line days, pre-Windows.I also write novels.
