Age of Mythology Retold Forum

I played the games several times last night. I did a single player Skirmish and a couple of online games (I was even able to host). The other person playing with me was on a PC, I am on a MacBook Pro M2 running Sequoia 15.2. It is best with an external display as the notch in the MacBook will cover up how much gold you have and I didn't see any way to fix it other than use my external screen.

• I installed Crossover Preview (20241028)
• Installed a new bottle for Age of Mythology Retold
• Set my graphics to D3DMetal
• In "Bottle Actions", I did "Install Application into Bottle"
• I searched for the latest C++ redistributable (as of today, it is listed as untested for Microsoft Visual C++ 2019 Redistributable Runtime)
• It gave me an error that another version was installed and I clicked either continue or skip (just not cancel)
• It did it again
• Then it completed
• I started the game, it gave me a warning about an unknown graphics card, I clicked ok.
• Then I played the game to my heart's content for hours and had zero issues and zero lag.

Thank you for your help, but unfortunately it does not work for me. My MacBook has M2 pro chip also.
It simply cannot run the game by giving an error.

It worked perfectly for me up until the Jan 23 Age of Mythology update. Now it crashes with a graphics error message within seconds of starting a new game (sometimes even before the game starts!) I've tried a number of workarounds but nothing has had an effect.
