Thanks for this! I followed your steps exactly, including the EA app install steps, but no luck. I tried with both 24.0.5 and Preview (25.0.0), on Sonoma 14.6.1. With 24.0.5, I used an existing Win 10 64b bottle which already had Steam installed, and with Preview I used a fresh bottle. My system is an M2 MBP with 16GB RAM.
In both cases, starwarsbattlefrontii.exe launches (and I see it in the Dock), but with a black screen and no sound. I'd appreciate any suggestions 😊
