zMUD freezes on starting if mudlist.db is not present
If you installed zMUD and then try to run it, it will freeze at the splash screen. The reason it does so is that it is trying to create a mudlist.db file from the mudlist.txt file. I'm not sure if it ever succeeds, but I left it for several hours and it stayed stuck. To correct this, simply copy mudlist.db from zMUD installed on a Windows Computer/VM, or download mine from mediafire: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?usyldjsjwidjo7z
Edit: This no longer seems accurate with CrossOver 11 and 12beta3, as the zscovert program to convert the mudlist.txt file to mudlist.db seems to now run correctly. Cheers for CrossOver.
