XCOM® 2 Tips

When laughing the game from Steam, the 2K Loader crashes with an error.

You can bypass the loader and launch the game directly from its .exe file. In CrossOver, click "Open C: Drive". The path within is

Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/XCOM 2/Binaries/Win64/Xcom2.exe

You may see some "redscreen" errors in XCOM2, but the game still works.

You can also create a shortcut using the "Run Command" feature of CrossOver.

When laughing in this way, with Steam open, Steam does NOT see that the game is running. So Steam Achievements and other features will not work.
