There is now a hidden installation package for Worms Armageddon. If you have autorun working (it should always work on the Mac) just insert a WA disk and everything should go from there. Otherwise, modify your preferences (on the Mac) or change the checkbox in the install wizard (on linux) to view all dependencies, and then select the Worms Armageddon package.
--HOWEVER-- there is one thing you will need to do by hand to make Worms playable. The bottle that contains WA needs to run in 'desktop mode'. You can set this by launching 'winecfg' from the bottle control panel, switching to the 'Graphics' tab, and checking 'Emulate a virtual desktop'. Restart Worms and you should be all set.
(I haven't played very many levels, though, because I am very bad at this game.)
