This error occurs when an update does not complete properly. The specific address of a download is left in the configuration log and must be manually updated.
Quit World of Warships
On Mac: Go to Documents -> World_of_Warships and open WoWsLauncher.cfg in a text editor
Change the 'patch_info_urls' from "update-v4r4h10x.worldofwarships.com" to "update.worldofwarships.com”
