As with other recent versions of Wordperfect Office suite, it is necessary to install Internet Explorer in the same bottle first. Without this, the install will totally fail. However, it still didn't work for me. It went fine right through setup where I chose which components I wanted installed and I clicked the install button on the on the Wordperfect window. But, it failed with the message: 'file not found'. Checking the log, it appears that WINE lacks support for OLE functions which are needed. So, further WINE upgrades will be needed or it will be necessary to use an actual Windows DLL in order to install this version of Wordperfect Office.
