The installation does an install of IExplorer, if its not already installed, you then need to start a new install for W.P. Office.
W.P. Office 2002 installs completly and it appears, correctly, with no cxoffice errors. But then disaster strikes! The installation (or possibly cxoffice) destroys all menu entries, including the ones in the taskbar and the cxoffice entries. It does this by inserting the statement "hidden = true" in all directory entries. I have no fix for this but the workaround is simple, before attempting the installation make a backup copy of you're /home/user/.kde/share directory in the root directory . delete the non functional /share directory and replace it with the backed up copy.
Paradox seems to run correctly, Wordperfect locks up with the opening graphic, Quattro Pro loads and brings up the default worksheet, then dies.
Installing the service packs helps quit a bit, SP3 allows Quattro Pro to function nearly correctly but has problems loading worksheet files. Wordperfect still doesn't get off the ground. Installing SP4 made no obvious improvements, but probably is necessary.
