Update went strangely? Application won't launch?
A fresh install of Wizard101 may be the answer to your trouble.
Before you get started, go get the latest version of Wizard101 here:
1. Locate "Wizard101" in your Applications Folder and drag it to the trash
2. Then, follow these exact steps to get to your User Home's Hidden "Library" folder:
a. Click on Finder (the blue two-tone face icon in your Dock)
b. Choose the drop down menu option "Go"
c. Hold down the "Option" key ( some cases "Shift +Option ) on your keyboard to make "Library" visible and select it.
3. Inside your User Home Library folder, go to "Application Support" and locate the "Wizard101" folder. Drag it to the trash.
4. Inside your User Home Library folder, go to "Preferences" and locate the "com.kingsisle.wizard101.plist" file. Drag it to the trash.
5. Inside your User Home Library folder, go to "Caches" and locate the "com.kingsisle.wizard101" file. Drag it to the trash.
6. Inside your User Home Library folder, go to "Saved Application State" and locate the "com.kingsisle.wizard101.savedState" file. Drag it to the trash.
7. Verify the contents of your trash and empty it.
8. Now reboot your computer.
9. Once your system is back up, go to your "Downloads" folder and open the Wizard101 installer you downloaded before starting.
10. Install the latest version of Wizard101 into your Mac's Applications folder and launch it from there.
