WinRAR 3.8x Tips

Archive Files in Background = NO, NO!!!

It's not that WinRAR can't archive files files and run in background mode, it can just fine. The problem is if you do choose to send the current archiving task to the background there doesn't seem to be any way to make that instance come back to the foreground, you just have to wait until the current job is complete and then your window pops back onto the screen. This doesn't really seem like a bug to me as WinRAR is behaving just as it should, in Windows sending it to the background places it in the System Tray which CrossOver doesn't seem to support access to but apps still run none the less. So if you do press the Background button don't panic when you cant get the window back, it is still running just fine and will complete your archive eventually ;]
